Chatham Glyn is a family run business selling an incredible range of fabrics and materials located in south east Essex. The collections are designed in-house in the company’s design studio and therefore offer a huge range of exclusive designs and qualities from jacquards to cotton panama prints

Covertex is an upholstery fabric wholesaler now based in West Essex, founded by the Brown family in 1977, using their knowledge and experience in upholstery to build a name for themselves. Covertex quickly became one of the leading wholesalers to the industry, supplying an extensive range of over 2,000 upholstery fabrics both in the UK and across Europe.
Their daughter Cristina began with Covertex by working with them during the school holidays, and her flair for art and design eventually took her to the London College of Printing and Distributive Trades. Her studies culminated in gaining her Textile Design degree at Central Saint Martins, one of the world’s leading design colleges. Turning her passion for textiles and her academic achievements into a career soon followed, joining the family business in 1999 so she could make her mark on the industry
